What Are We Arguing About Anyway?

The best intro to professional persuasion!

In this workshop, you will learn techniques for making your case impactfully. Looking at argumentation from a new perspective - truly understanding what they are all about - you’ll gain the ability to convince others effectively.

The problem: arguments that lead nowhere

How many arguments have you attended that resulted in nothing more than a dialogue of the deaf, where nobody was actually persuaded?

It seems more common these days that discussions (if they even occur)  leave participants frustrated or flustered. In such cases, each side is often confident that they are right, and their opponents have nothing worthy to say, so ultimately, there is no way of reaching any conclusions.

There is a solution!

This one-of-a-kind workshop tackles the problem with practical debating tools and insights from over a decade of speaking, adjudicating, and coaching at the world’s TOP level.

As a result, you will be able to have better conversations, better arguments, and achieve better results.

Together we will cover the following topics:

  • Ensuring that you always stay on topic.
  • Identifying the main areas of contention in every argument.
  • Choosing the winning lines of reasoning.
  • Regaining (and maintaining) control of the course of the discussion.

Enhance your persuasiveness instantly

We will practice these tools throughout the workshop on a voluntary basis. All topics and examples will be derived from contemporary affairs and are guaranteed to generate engaging debate for all participants.

*It is also possible to conduct simulations relevant to the participants, such as those related to business contexts, political agendas, or day-to-day scenarios.

Anyone who wishes to win an argument, not just participate in one, will find the workshop beneficial.

Learn how to:

  • Identify and use relevant, accurate, and reasoned arguments to persuade.
  • Think analytically and critically in order to engage with the other side properly.
  • Separate the wheat from the chef, and find the key messages.
  • Approach persuasion systematically.
  • Prepare a winning case on the spot.
